Established in 2025, Mariposa Rosa is a black latina owned, ethical slow fashion brand based in New York City.

Designed by Jax, our brand is a love letter to late 2010s Japanese fashion styles, such as gyaru, but with a modern twist! We love taking classic J-Fashion designs and subverting them through fresh concepts and nostalgic color palettes.

We’re not afraid to mix and match styles and aesthetics in unconventional ways. Our clothing is for all the people who love kawaii fashion and aren’t afraid to break the rules and be provocative!
